Wednesday, August 30^th

It's the last day to prepare the school and lesson plans before classes start tomorrow. Margie, the school principal, had a new list of jobs for us which we pretty much finished by noon.

It was a coldish morning, so we ate our dinner in the classroom. We finished up the library before heading for home by way of Karen’s. The only day we have not been there since we came was Sunday. This feels ridiculous!

I packed up most of my stuff in the evening. We need to move tomorrow because W's are planning to come either tomorrow or the next day.

School prep time

The two laned, pot-holed road with a sidewalk down the middle that we walked to our home at W's.

"Our" house. We lived upstairs.

The neighbors. Everyone seems to be in the middle of some type of construction. See the pile of gravel and rocks waiting to be moved from the road by hand?

Working around the house. A cozy, nice place. Thank you, W's!

The place even came with a view. Snow capped mountains, Altar and Sungay.
