Back to the first place we visited on our first trip to Siberia in 2001!  We searched for familiar faces but found none.  That didn’t matter, for we had a wonderful time with new friends.

 

This letter was handed to us by one of the girls in our group when we left.  It was a great way to begin our ministry.  We can feel so inadequate to share Christ, but as we rely on Him, He does the work and surprises us!

 

                 

 

 

Our Dear Friends,

Thank you very much for your love and care.  We had a great time with you.  You brought some kind of light to our house, and we accepted it.  Probably this light is called God’s love.

It is very pleasant to feel your warmth and care especially for those who lack it in childhood.

All of us will remember this day as the most wonderful one, maybe someone will start a new life accepting Jesus in his/her little heart.

Thank you very much once again.  We were very glad to meet you.  You are super.

Pray for Valentina, the orphanage director who is like a mom to the children there.  She fears telling them that she has cancer, for they have already suffered so much loss in their young lives.
